Hey India...

Its raining heavily outside...our 60th independence day is around the corner...i just remembered the 50th independence day...in schools there is a lot of hype about I-Day. That was the first time i participated in a public speaking competition...and could just speak the starting quotes..."At the stroke of midnight...."and some last words and forgot everything in between...kept shivering all the time and that silly partial teacher took away my speech for her son....and that cultural event where the whole India was being represented...we were made to represent Karnatka...i looked absolutely ugly in that red n white saree.......................................time moves fast ...real fast...its 60th now n just saw "Chak De India" so its like obvious to get a bit patriotic...

Sports always have this uniting effect on us...ever observed the way we shout when a six is hit or a boundary is made that joyful shriek is the purest form of emotion...comes from the most innocent corner of our heart...bringing out the child in us...n this time it was HOCKEY....i will call it the height of ignorance....never in my life i had seen a hockey match before this movie...god what a shame. The way the stick and the Ball move is so beautiful ...seems like two lovers are doing saalsa.

Happy independence day India darling...too proud to be part of u.

Dialogue of the post:" I am not marrying you...n learn some sportsman spirit."-Chak De India...Preeti sabharwaal...that chandigarh girl in movie.

Awesome it was slapping someone without hitting him...luvved it.
